Winglow Fashion Academy 2nd Graduation 2017
Winglow Fashion Academy Graduation held its 2nd Graduation on 25th November, 2017. The theme “Self Development through Vocational Skills Acquisition for Future Wealth Creation’’ reflects clearly the vision of the Academy.
The Principal of Winglow Fashion Academy, Mrs. Awurabena Okrah in her welcome address stated that the Academy not only provides its students with skills but equips them for wealth creation and assurance of a secured future. She mentioned that the Academy has received COTVET Certification and is pursuing National Accreditation for the Academy to enable its graduates pursue certificate and even degree courses in future.
The Guest Speaker, Mr. Awudu Damani Musah, TVET Consultant and Ghana Skills Development Initiative (GSDI) training Provider advised that the graduates uphold good working character, discipline and hard work.
Moreover, the Executive Director of Pro-Link Organization Mrs. Trudi Nunoo, who read the speech for Hon. Dr. Bernice Heloo (Guest of Honor), congratulated the graduates for the skills acquired. She said that they made a good decision for acquiring vocational skills in addition to their academic knowledge. Mrs. Maureen Odoi, the Executive Director of African Aurora Business Network (AABN) Foundation, partner of Winglow delivered solidarity message which advised the graduates to pay attention to quality and detail in their work.
The Academy graduated 37 students. Twenty (20) trained in Interior and Exterior Decoration and 17 trained in Fashion Design and Technology.
